Captain Marvel (2019)

This movie was very passable. I don't know why this became such a hot topic. I'm a big fan of Brie Larson, and I was excited when she got announced. This movie got announced as I was reading a lot of the Cosmic Marvel comics, I was really excited about a Captain Marvel movie. Sitting in the theatre with my friends after the movie ended we kinda looked at each other confused why everyone was so upset. It wasn't great, but there were good things and bad things. I wish it didn't become a crusade for women; I think pushing a movie that's made for purely entertainment purposes as a political piece is always a poor choice. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys the MCU movies and hasn't seen it yet.
